‘Echo’

'Echo' is a collection that explores the emotion behind the poem from Ovid's Metamorphoses 'Narcissus and Echo'. More specifically how Echo responds to attention, how their mind works to process the emotions, thoughts and experiences and what they do as a result. This is manifested through the juxtaposition of light vs dark themes, sharp architectural and structural design elements, with soft, textural elements. These represent the darkness of Narcissus seeping into her subconscious against the sharp, strong feminine elements - that get blurred into one through the push-and-pull notions of the connection.
