Creatures That Cry

The collection Creatures That Cry poetically depicts the emotional bondage individuals have with moments that significantly form their unique human experience. The exploration of human nature and the emotions we tie to heavily pivotal moments is presented as a narrative; each silhouette delves into resonant moments connecting to Laura-Ashley's cultural identity, ongoing journey of healing past trauma, and gaining clarity with oneself. The complexity of the human condition is articulated in forms that hold artisan value and beautifully creates an atmosphere that hybridises art and slow fashion.
